Private sessions allow you to have a more intimate view of your practice. You can start a new practice, deepen your actual practice or spend some time working with specific parts of your body, such as stiff shoulders and neck, tight hips or lower back pain. Private sessions for two or more persons are also available.

Ashtanga Yoga in Taipa

Primary Series

If you are new to Ashtanga, private classes will help you to build up your practice and to understand the sequence flow. If you have been practicing for a while, this approach will also help you to learn how to safely and effectively progress into new poses.

Vinyasa Krama

Vinyasa Krama means wise progression within a sequence. A flow of movement and postures that builds towards a peak, each asana is allowed to unfold into the next. The Vinyasa Krama method is based on the teachings of Sri T. Krishnamacharya  (the father of modern yoga). The way I teach Vinyasa flow classes is by using a creative sequence with a lot of strengthening transitions, building the body to move into the more advanced or complex poses.

Chair Yoga for Seniors

This class is appropriate for older adults seeking the well-being of a very relaxing, gentle and mobility focused practice. This style supports people with low mobility, profound stiffness, injuries or simply for those wanting to experience the health benefits of yoga. Each Chair Yoga session builds on one another to strengthen weak muscles, protect and nurture your joints, promote mobility and bring balance to your body and mind.

Guided Meditation in Taipa

Guided Meditation

The sessions consist in guiding breath awareness in a seated position, for the mind to remain alert and focused in each breath. The breathing technique calms the mind and relaxes the body into meditation. With constant practice, it helps to control the incessant flow of distracting thoughts, and brings inner peace to your life.
